Weight-Loss Contract

I, [enter your name], hereby commit to Dr. Colbert's "I Can Do This" diet. I understand that according to 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 my body is not my own, but it was bought by the blood of Jesus. I am to glorify God in my body and my spirit. With that understanding,

I affirm that:

• I commit to strictly following this program for four weeks as directed without cheating.
• I commit to a regular activity schedule of walking for twenty to thirty minutes at least five days a week. This can be increased to a brisk walk as tolerated.
• I commit to maintaining a daily food and exercise/activity diary.
• I commit to practice portion control.
• I commit to visualizing myself at my ideal weight.
• My family is committed to my weight-loss goals.
• I commit to removing all junk food, foods high in sugar content, addictive foods, or foods I crave from my cabinets, refrigerator, freezer, and house.
• I commit to having an accountability partner.
• I commit to eating three meals a day and two snacks, and no longer eating complex carbs after 6:00 p.m.
• I commit to eating breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.
• I commit to saying to myself every day, "I forgive myself, accept myself, and love myself," even if I cheat or fall.

I understand that failure to comply may sabotage my weight-loss goals. I agree to adhere to all of the above commitments in order to achieve weight loss.
